About Dr. Dan

Meet Dr. Daniel Moynihan – “Dr. Dan”

As a child, Dr. Moynihan constantly suffered with frequent ear infections and sinus congestion. He recalls, “keeping a bottle of pink Amoxicillin in the fridge to sip on throughout the day. This was all I knew. It was my family doctor’s attempt at prevention.”

Upon regular doctor’s office visits, he recalls,

“By the time I told my Mom about the throbbing pain and pressure in my ears, it was so bad that the doctor questioned why my Mother didn’t bring me in sooner!”

“I had no idea how bad I was. I had gotten used to being sick.”

Throughout his youth he was trapped in the medical model: wait until you’re sick, then treat the symptom with medication. This was the cycle. Repeated over and over again.

“I had no hope that this would ever change. I figured I was unlucky and I would have to deal with sickness the rest of my life.”

Due to his history of illness, Dr. Moynihan became intrigued by the human body. “I love learning about how the body works and how we adapt to our environment. Health became my passion.”

After High School, he went on to complete pre-medical course work in undergraduate college. In 2008, he received his Bachelors of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

It was during that time that his future calling would begin to reveal itself.

“In 2005, I was first introduced to Corrective Chiropractic care. My Mom’s co-worked saw her habitually taking pain pills throughout the day. She told my Mom to get her nervous system checked at Planet Chiropractic. My Mom made the appointment. I knew nothing about chiropractic at the time. I was interested to find out more and accompanied her during her initial visit.”

“I didn’t know it at the time, but this was the day my entire life changed!”

“On my first chiropractic visit, I learned about the nervous system as well as the body’s ability to self-regulate and heal. For the first time in my life, my history of sickness started to make sense. No doctor had ever found out why I was sick!”

“Each adjustment I received made it easier to breathe. That next year was the first year of my life I didn’t get sick!”

After the personal health transformation he experienced, Dr. Moynihan decided he wanted to give others the same opportunity to experience true healing. That meant going to chiropractic college.

In 2012 Dr. Moynihan graduated Cum Laude with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. With over 12 years of study in cellular biology, physiology, genetics, and the ideal human lifestyle,  Dr. Moynihan possesses a rare ability to lead his patients to the vibrant life they deserve!

Since March of 2012, he has been restoring hope and health for thousands of patients.

“My sole purpose and passion is helping people live to their full potential!”
